Our patience and perseverance has finally come to fruition! A temple in our community(Bloomington/Normal) is soon going to be a REALITY! .
The construction of Temple will begin in August, 2010.
In preparation for the big day, a ‘Bhumi Shuddhi’ Yagna is planned at our temple site on Sunday July 18th, 2010 from 10am.
‘Bhumi Shudhi’ will be done through a Samuhik Yagna by worshiping Lord Ganesh and Goddess Laxmi by our devotees.
· Minimum 12 Havan Kunds (Fire pits) will be made available (with all required material)
· Yagna will be performed by upto 6 families at each Havan Kund (upto 2 persons per family).
· Yagna will be done by devotees under the supervision of a priest from Balaji Temple, Chicago.
· A nominal donation of $250.00 (Family Sponsorship) will give you and your family an opportunity to take part
in this Historic ‘Samuhik Yagna’.
· Moments captured during this ‘Samuhik Yagna’ will be kept in the temple premises for years to come.
Now is the time! Let us all come together, as we begin to create History and witness this moment, we had all been waiting for!
Temple in our community is no longer going to be a dream, but reality by August, 2010.
