The increasing number of Indian families now living permanently in the McLean County has necessitated the need for a Hindu Temple in Bloomington-Normal. To start this auspicious and important endeavor, several initial founding volunteers have come together and pledged over $200,000. The land and building construction cost for the temple is estimated around a million dollars. Our goal for this year is to collect 1/3 of the projected cost and purchase the land!
