Updated Covid-19 Guidelines
‍Given that the Covid-19 infection rate is now raised to MEDIUM level in our county (as per CDC county-wise map), please adhere to the following updated Covid-19 guidelines while visiting the temple. This may change if the infection rate level changes in the future.

  • Please stay up to date with the Covid-19 vaccine and booster doses as per CDC guidelines.
  • Please do not visit Temple if you have Covid-19 symptoms or you’re in close contact with Covid-19 patient. Please get tested ASAP and follow CDC-recommended quarantine guidelines.
  • Wearing a mask while visiting the Temple is highly recommended. If you are at high risk for severe illness or you are not fully vaccinated, talk to your healthcare provider about whether you need to wear a mask or take any other precautions, and adhere to those while visiting Temple.
  • Please continue to follow good hand hygiene.
  • Be respectful to all Temple volunteers & follow directions provided by them.

Bio:

Shashank is a high school senior with a deep passion for music, training in Carnatic music under Dr. Baby Sreeram since 2020. Known for his sincerity and discipline, he has grown steadily as a performer and has taken part in numerous competitions and concerts in and around the Chicago and Peoria area.

In May 2026, Shashank gave his maiden concert in India, accompanied by eminent artists including Ghatam Karthik, a milestone that marked his arrival on a wider stage. He has also performed at respected festivals and venues, including the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, Guruguhodayam, the Ganesha Temple in Missouri, and Lokakshema Satsang, to name a few.

His musical passion extends beyond the Carnatic stage. He won the Swaram Ultimate Singer 2025 Title in Light Music, conducted by Swaram USA, and is a lead singer in Dr. Kannik's Symphony Orchestra - The Joy of Krishna in Srishti 2026.

Rajith Iyer is an up-and-coming mridangam artist from Bloomington IL, and a disciple of Vid Sri Chennai S Thyagarajan. He also trained in carnatic vocal under his mother Vid Smt Radhika Satish. He is also blessed to receive continued guidance from Sangeeta Kalanidhi Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan over the years. Rajith has accompanied several artists in the US and in India during December Music season.

Dr.Mahathi Priyanka Kalipatnapu is a Carnatic vocalist and violinist from Vijayawada, India. She learnt vocal music from (late) Srimathi Gadde Ramakumari garu and vioin from legendary violinist Sri Annavarapu Ramaswamy garu.She has given several vocal and violin performances at various venues in Vijayawada , and accompanied her guru Sri Annavarapu Ramaswamy on multiple occasions including Nadanerajanam in Tirupathi.She pursued her MBBS from Andhra Medical college ,Visakhapatnam, where she continued her violin training under violin maestro Sri Ivaturi Vijeyeswara Rao ( guru of Dr.Pantula Rama). She is a practicing transplant Nephrologist in Peoria and a mom of two beautiful little children.
