Topic - Vision of the Bhagavad Gita

Date: SATURDAY, April 27th

Time: 4.00 PM TO 5.30 PM‍

The Bhagavad Gita is a dialogue between prince Arjuna and Lord Kṛṣṇā. On the verge of a war with his cousins, Arjuna is confused and does not know how to respond to the situation. Lord Kṛṣṇā instructs him on how to win the battle of life, the war being symbolic of the conflict of choice that we face in everyday situations. Our life is nothing but a transaction between this world and ourselves in the form of perception and response. We have no choice but to relate with the world and respond. How we respond matters.

In the Vision of the Gita, there is only one reality which is whole (Purṇa). You are not separate from that wholeness and that wholeness is not unknown to you. In fact you are that wholeness, fullness and completeness.

It is only when we have a vision of the totality of life that we can make the right choices in the complex problems that confront us in life. Lord Kṛṣṇā revealed this vision of totality to Arjuna. It is said that one who has understood the Gītā, has understood all that is to be understood through other Śāstrās. Gītā itself is the essence of all the Vedas, Upaniṣads and Dharma-Śāstrās.

ALL are welcome to the Satsanga. Please join to revel in the teachings of Lord Kṛishna
